Advanced skiers are able to access the ski resort via the Burro Trail (located just one block from the home, conditions permitting). When accessing these trails you are outside of the ski resort boundary for a short time - these areas are not maintained or patrolled and should only be skied at your own risk. The trail is also great for cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and hiking. This lovely log cabin home, called Pine River Cabin, offers a location close to the action but removed enough to be a serene, mountain retreat. Visitors who ski or snowboard enjoy the convenience of being just a few miles from the ski area, and for those looking to relax in nature are delighted by the floor-to-ceiling windows and forested property right on the Blue River. The home is constructed with Colorado pine and decorated with locally made furniture and artwork, giving it a true cabin ambiance. It’s not all “home on the range”; this cabin features modern amenities including a gourmet kitchen with a Jenaire gas range, flat screen TVs in the living room and all bedrooms and nicely appointed bathrooms. There is also a private hot tub and deck for soaking in the forest scenery.

Elk Trail House

A classic log cabin, Elk Trail House is reminiscent of the set of a classic Western film placed in the Rocky Mountains. Filled with character and charm, this home offers three bedrooms, private loft and three baths.
